The group lead by Josh Graham, who contributed to such honoured groups as Neurosis, Battle of Mice or Red Sparowes. The musicians describe their project as apocalyptic metal. Nothing more accurate – in the lyrics and graphic art, stamping their releases, the world destroyed by a unspecified cataclysm, keeps swaddling continuously. The band changed the colours a little bit on the most recent album, replacing the doom-ambient mixture, with faster, rock songs. However, even in the face of these transformations, one thing stayed unchanged – the characteristic, of ASoL, overwhelming atmosphere.
