Mombu is the new project of the Italian Zu’s sax-player, Luca T. Mai, founded with Antonio Zitarelli, the drummer of the wacky Italian group Neo. Their duo, i.e. the combining of sax and drums, creates a unique musical chemistry, when they mix African rhythms and jazz together.
