The starter-dish before Asymmetry Festival, will be the Asymmetry Festival Before Party, planned to take place on February 2nd in the Wroclaw-based “Puzzle” club. The presence of Justin Howard in the line-up of this year’s edition of Asymmetry Festival, is the consequence of seeking for artists, who surpass the genre boundaries with their vision. The musician, before starting his career under the moniker Metazen for good, had a chance to perform in a few metal acts. Fascinated by the achievements of such respected names in the underground as Isis, Battle of Mice, or even Nine Inch Nails, he managed to transfer some characteristic elements of post-rock/metal – ambient passages, understiched with industrial motoric – into his new incarnation. Combined with a hip-hop sound, we receive a totally new quality, making Howard one of the most asymmetric elements in the line-up of this year’s edition of the festival.
