WAI is a Wroclaw-based hardcore/punk, which romances heavily with the classics of hard rock and metal, not stopping to be neither hardcore, nor punk at the same time. That’s why influences of Black Flag and Turbonegro, as well as Black Sabbath and Entombed, can be heard in their music. The band was originated in 2006, when the following individuals: Piotrek (guitar), Łukasz (drums), Igor (vocal), Maciek (bass), Krzysiek (second guitar), met in the background of two other bands – Seven Day Lie, Wojtyła. Since then, they perform almost continuously, and have two full-length releases and dozens of show on their account.
