He started his adventure with music from rap battles as a fifteen year-old. It can be seen until this day, during his live performances, as his freestyle lyrics and based on the subjects chosen by the audience. Despite his strong hip-hop roots, his style is hard to classify. Similarly in the case of his most recent – this time very autobiographical – album “This is Our Science”, on which he resorts to his unrestricted approach to sounds, mixing indie rock, electro and melorecitation. It is a release full of unexpected turns of action, as one never knows what’s going to happen next. The only thing we can do is to get carried away by the story. An American band under the leadership of West Thordson, draft a new plan to carry out with each release. This is indefatigable avant-garde eclecticism, not closed to any outside influences, rich in sound, which not event Bob Dylan, Roger Waters and, foremost, Arvo Pärt would be ashamed of. The bleak, dark and depressing vision of the world, is reflected in every track of this minimalistic trio. This is a musical afterthought about the world, characterized by a constant evolution of style, based on a fundamental assumption of a fusion-like attitude towards the vision of rock music.

Amenra are a trademark, which needs no introduction. During the festival, they will present two live shows, exclusively – acoustic and a traditional one. Amenra originated in 1999. From its beginnings, it was almost impossible to label the band’s output. Their music is, foremost, a screamy vocal, low tones and harsh riffs – and all of the aforementioned, engrossed in a post-hardcore/sludge stylistic. Fans say, that the only way of discovering the entire magic resting in their music, is seeing them live.
