DIRGE

Band formed in 1994 in Paris. From the industrial metal genre that exploded during the first part of the 90s, the band slowly evolved toward a more atmospheric and progressive form of metal, related to the so-called “post-metal” scene. In 2014, DIRGE releases its 6^th album “Hyperion” through the first-rate French label Debemur Morti (Blut Aus Nord, Rosetta, Year Of No Light…). This records draws the cold and ethereal vein of its predecessor “Elysian Magnetic Fields” out, between hazy melancholy and movement variations, powerful as well as progressive
